My Oak Tree Had Fungus on It

Written on September 16, 2016 at 12:32 am, by admin

One of my favorite things to do when I have some free time is to go outside with a good book and sit under a huge oak tree in the back yard. I can usually lose myself within seconds in my book, but the last time I went out was different. I had noticed that there was something that look like fungus on the bark of the tree, and it concerned me because it wasn’t there just a few weeks prior to that. I knew that I needed to find a company that does tree service in Nassau County.

I did not want just a tree cutter to come out and cut the tree down. Even though it did not look good, it was not a problem that had been around for years. I was just sitting under the tree a few weeks prior and would have noticed it. Read more

School for Learning Music Production

Written on September 5, 2016 at 4:30 pm, by admin

My oldest son is going to be going to college next year, and I want to start helping him to look for a college to go to, so that he has his plans in place far ahead of time for him to actually graduate. I believe that always makes the transition a bit easier. My son has always been very interested in music and I know he would like to go to a music production school if I can find a college that has a good program for that. He has played music for most of his life, and began playing piano when he was only 4 years old. Read more

Migration Info for New Zealand

Written on September 5, 2016 at 4:31 am, by admin

New Zealand is pretty much my ideal place to live, for a number of reasons, and I really wish I could live there. This is opposed to the country that I am living in right now, which I view as getting worse and worse every day. Well maybe it isn’t literally getting worse on a daily basis, but it sure seems like it. Anyway, I am looking for info on how to migrate to NZ because I would really like to live there, and I hope that it won’t be too hard to do.

I have no idea what the requirements are, and so I have a lot to learn. Read more

Taking a Supplement and Cream for Perkier Breasts

Written on July 4, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

When I was younger, I didn’t think about cosmetic surgery, wrinkle cream, or anything of the sort. I was young and carefree, and I just enjoyed myself. As I got older though, those thoughts did start to creep in. My breasts were still nice, but they were not as perky as they were when I was in my prime. When a friend of mine started taking a Total Curve supplement twice a day for the same issue, I was really surprised with the results. She had stopped wearing clothes that showed off her cleavage because she was not feeling as sexy, but taking these supplements for a few months really did what they claim to do.

I looked at the review website that she had first read about Total Curve, because I do like to know what I am putting in and on my body. I saw that this is a two step process, which simply means taking the supplements on a daily basis and then applying a topical treatment as well. Read more

I Was Buried on the Fifth Page of Results

Written on January 14, 2016 at 5:30 pm, by admin

Whenever I have a problem, I don’t dwell on it. I would rather take action immediately and make it disappear. When I started having a harder time filling apartments, I knew that I needed to do something because it was affecting my bottom line too much. Rather than sit and think of what to do, I took action the moment I realized we were in trouble. I went online and did some research, which is how I found some great apartment marketing ideas by multifamilytraffic.com. I read their blog and walked away from it with a lot of great ideas that I wanted to implement.

I walked away understanding that we live in a world where just about everything is done online now too. People don’t open up their newspapers to find apartments anymore. They go online and get a great deal more information this way. Read more

Tackling a Few Tough Assignments

Written on September 7, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

For a civil engineering assignment, students were given random tasks to figure out how to complete. I was given the task of learning how to create a successful slab on grade construction. I found some information in my text book that was helpful, but I wasn’t able to figure out the rest using it. Someone suggested that I try using a slab on grade design spreadsheet to solve my problem. It seemed like an obvious answer to my problem, but the thought of it never crossed my mind until someone else said it.

I was able to find a website with the spreadsheet that I needed. Read more

Home is Where You Make It

Written on September 5, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

I was just your average nine to five worker with lots of lofty dreams about hitting it big and moving abroad, maybe traveling the world in style with a chauffeur and a bodyguard, like a movie star. Of course there was absolutely zero chance of that happening but still, I wanted to get out and see the world if the chance ever arose so when I got a job offer for a company in Singapore, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to feel somewhat at home in a strange land so I had to find home movers in Singapore to help me bring some of my belongings into the new apartment.

Finding movers proved to be a rather daunting task, it took several internet searches and fifteen telephone calls before I found a company that could do what I needed. The company got my stuff all set in my new apartment before I even arrived myself which was nice and this was the first time I had ever not had to move a single thing myself. I could get used to that.

I found that life in Singapore was a lot like life in the states in some ways and lots different in other ways. The cuisine was different of course, but like every other place on the planet, there was a chain fast food joint, should I ever feel a need for a taste of home. I met a bunch of great people through work, both locals and expats like myself, both American and British. Our little group has had some great times, going out on the town and finding new and interesting adventures to have. I like it so much here that I think I may stay indefinitely, provided my job is still here. I feel more at home here than I ever have anywhere else.

Cheats Are Always Free to Use

Written on August 2, 2016 at 8:30 pm, by admin

My friends got me hooked on the game Toy Blast. I had been playing another game involving a pair of pants, but that got old and I was looking for something else to play. They told me to give it a try and see if I liked it. I loved the game, but there was one thing holding me back. The game wanted me to spend real money, but there was no way I would do that. I asked them if they knew of any Toy Blast cheats that would make the game more fun to play, but they didn’t.

We searched through various forums to find some answers about some cheats that would help us become better at the game, but we couldn’t find anything relevant. Read more

Eating Healthier While Still Enjoying Some Junk Food Too

Written on July 28, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

I used to beat myself up mentally thinking about the foods that I eat. I do like to eat some junk food here and there. I like salty and crunchy snacks a whole lot. However, I do not eat meat, and I do eat my vegetables and fruits. My cholesterol is great. I take the time to pick good fruits and vegetables in the store. I even eat vegetables I never really cared for. I learned about the health benefits of radishes, and I add them to salads now. I could take them or leave them before, but now I would miss their spicy taste in a salad if they were not there.

My indulgence is not in chocolate or sugary drinks. My favorite thing is those crunchy and very salty snacks such as chips and crackers. I have to throw in some seasoned croutons in my salad in order to get the most enjoyment. Overall my diet is pretty good. Would it be better if I did not eat as many of the corn chips, pretzels and other salty snacks? Sure it would. Read more

Getting Stronger Calves with Exercises

Written on July 26, 2016 at 4:31 am, by admin

I work out almost every day. There are times when I target certain areas of my body, and not long ago I decided to find out more about calf workouts at home. I used to belong to a gym, but I just wasn’t able to find the time to go there every day. That is why I wanted to find out what I could do on my own to get bigger calves. We use our calves so much every single day, yet mine were not as muscular as I thought they should be.

I wanted to find exercises that would focus mainly on my calves, and I was able to find quite a few from one website that I looked at. One of the best ways to working out calves is to jump rope. However, I had already been doing that for years, and I had noticed much of a difference. I saw where I was actually not doing it long enough though. For a good jump rope workout for my calves, I would need to do it for at least 15 minutes each time I did. Read more

Two New Scales for Meats

Written on June 16, 2016 at 8:30 pm, by admin

Even though I know it is technically not the correct term, I still did a search for a waterproof scale when I needed to replace one of my scales in the deli area of my store. Meats can leave behind quite the mess when it is being weighed, so I needed a scale that was going to be capable of handling all of the moisture that would be on it throughout the day. After every weighing, my staff cleans the scale, but I still wanted a scale that would be able to handle that kind of use every day.

I looked at some Washdown scales at 1800scales.com, and I was really happy with what I saw. I had budgeted one thousand dollars for buying a new scale because I wanted the best, but I saw that I would not have to spend even half of that to get a top quality scale that does everything that I need for it to do. Treating Vaginal Discharge in a Healthy Way

Written on February 29, 2016 at 1:30 pm, by admin

It is normal for any woman to have vaginal discharge. There are differences in the actual discharge though for some women. Normal discharge is usually clear and odorless, and it also does not happen often. If it has a foul odor and happens on a regular basis, then something must be done about it because it can lead to serious health risks. One of the ways to counteract abnormal vaginal discharge is with Crystal X. It is a very natural remedy that has no side effects, making it perfectly safe for a person to use.

I wanted to learn more about vaginal discharge so I would know if what I had is considered normal or not, and also if it could lead to something more serious like an infection. Read more

Plans for the Big Sale

Written on December 1, 2015 at 5:34 pm, by admin

It always seems like whenever I’m trying to do something on my computer, someone is always trying to interrupt me. For example, recently there was an online sale for hair bundle deals on a website that I normally visit. Every hour a special bundle would go on sale and stay there until it was sold out, and then the next bundle would be placed on sale. I planned out my entire day to sit in front of the computer and watch eat sale as they happen, but my friend and my family had different plans for me.

My best friend’s car blew a tire in the middle of the road and she needed me to take a spare tire to her. Read more

The Best Food Delivery in Tampa

Written on December 1, 2015 at 5:34 pm, by admin

When I called a restaurant to place an order to be delivered, I was pretty shocked to hear that they do not do that. I know that a lot of fancier restaurants will not deliver, but I thought that all of the more casual ones did. It was really disappointing too, because I was looking forward to eating one of their specialty meals without having to go out and get it myself. I decided to look online for restaurants that do handle food delivery in tampa customers, and that is when I discovered a company that actually does deliver food from restaurants that might not deliver otherwise.

I looked at their website and was impressed with everything that I saw on it. Read more

First Time with a Stylist

Written on December 1, 2015 at 5:32 pm, by admin

I used to work on my own hair, but when I did, I normally kept it short. I don’t have the patience to wait for my hair to grow out to reach my back, and my hair grows at a much slower pace than other people. I’ve always wanted to try adding in hair, but I didn’t know how to do it correctly. I decided to swallow my price and take my chances with a hair stylist. I asked the stylist what kind of hair I should use to make mine look longer, and she said 4c hair was my best bet.

I bought some of the hair and took it to the stylist to have her put it in. I was a little nervous since this was my first time, but the stylist told me not to worry and that she would be gentle. She washed my hair with a lovely smelling shampoo and conditioner, rinse it, and dried it. She was so delicate with my hair that it felt like she was handling a new born baby. Her steady hands took the time to address every strand of my hair and deeply cleanse my scalp.

After the hair was fully dry, she then started putting the hair in that I had purchased. I thought it would take a long time for her to put the hair in, but she did it pretty quickly. In no time she was done, and I was able to take a look at it in the mirror. My hair was perfect. I had the long hair style that I had always dreamed of, but was never able to put in myself. I thanked her for the work she had done, and paid her a big tip. I told her that she had just earned a long time customer.

A New Model of Musical Distribution

Written on November 16, 2015 at 1:32 pm, by admin

One of the more interesting digital evolutions that can be easily tracked on the web is the design and ideology behind musical distribution methodologies. Even with the likes of Napster and Soulseek being an early proto-model standard for peer to peer networking and music sharing, we have seen a radical department from the traditional peer to peer model to models that are less self-contained within their own software environments. Now with the likes of music sync companies, an artist is able to send individual tracks or a portfolio of beats and harmonies to a company that has direct access to major media production companies who are searching for new artists and content.

Working as an independent musician I’ve found the challenge in becoming successful to be a refreshing inspiration that pushes me to constantly improve on my work. Not only must I create unique tracks but I also have to learn to adapt to the constantly changing music scene. Read more

Pineapple Helps with Gout Pain

Written on October 23, 2015 at 4:30 pm, by admin

If you have never had gout before, be thankful. I have a few relatives who have had it, but I never realized just how awful it is until I experienced it myself. My uncle would sometimes be bedridden with it, because it was just too painful to even move on some days. He is a preacher so if he missed church because of it, that is telling on just how painful it is. When I developed it, I could finally understand. A friend told me to do a search for is pineapple good for gout because he had heard that there is something in pineapples that helps people with gout, but he could not remember what it was.

I decided to see if there was any merit to what he had told me. I went online and did the search that he suggested, and I was surprised to find a wealth of information on the relationship between gout and pineapple. Read more

The Cost of a Home Security System

Written on September 23, 2015 at 8:30 pm, by admin

Kate and I have been looking into what the costs would be to get a good home security system, right now we are looking at something from ADT home security since that way we can get a good price on the whole thing from start to finish. We were looking into what it would cost us to buy the hardware from one of the web pages that sells this sort of thing, but the time dimension is not really going to work out for me. I could likely figure out how to install all of the components of the system, but it would require a lot of time that I do not really have right now. Read more

Just Starting to Get into Poetry

Written on July 31, 2012 at 12:38 pm, by admin

poetry night was quite the place to be at north greenville on thursday ...My wife definitely has all of the brains in the family. She has a master’s degree from Harvard and is one of the most well read individuals I have ever met in my entire life. It is not at all unusual for her to finish a very challenging book in only one or two days. I am a reader myself, but I am not as avid as she is. When we met and fell in love and started to share in her love of the written word and began reading more and more.

We would read the same classic literature and then have discussions and debates on the author’s intentions. I have always tended to be attracted to non-fiction works while my wife has always loved reading fictional literature. As time passed, I became a more educated reader and I spent a great deal of time reading through classic novels that my wife recommended for me. Over the years I have gained a great appreciation for fiction and have really learned to appreciate the beauty and lyricism of a great, well-written work of art.

As much as I have grown as a reader and have gained a great appreciation and love for reading, one thing that I have never been able to do was to get into reading poetry. My wife absolutley loves poetry, but, although I can certainly appreciate the talent and skill that it takes to craft a well-written poem, I have honestly never been able to really enjoy reading poems. I have never sat down to read a book of poetry and felt like I was in heaven. I have never eagerly anticipated turning a page in a book of poems. This may be starting to change however. I have recently begun reading peoms by the terrific writer Lina Zeron. I find her poems to be truly amazing. They really touch me emotionally in a way that no other poems have. I would recommend her poems to anyone, even people who aren’t all that into poetry.

How to Get Started Writing Original Poetry

Written on July 31, 2012 at 12:38 pm, by admin

Poetry Cypher Captivates CCWC Members on Writers Night Out, April 18 ...If you want to get started writing your own original poetry, there are many effective methods to launch you on your journey. Read more poetry, immerse yourself in the words, and surround yourself with support and encouragement. These are a few ideas you can adapt to suit your individual lifestyle and goals for writing your own poetry.

The best way to motivate yourself to write poetry and to write it better is to get more exposure to the poetry of others. Buy some books by the poets you love. Browse through your local library or go online to discover new favorites. Try reading out loud to really feel the work.

Of course, you may need some guidance to understand what you are reading. Check the events calendar at your local college, public library or bookstore for lectures and classes on poetry. Read more
