I’ve Decided to Ditch My Old Place and Move into My Dad’s Nice Apartment

My dad had been living out of the country for many years. We saw each other from time to time, but he was busy taking care of his business over in China most of the time. He was coming back to the States, so I was so excited. He told me to start looking for Atlanta luxury apartments because he planned to live near me. I had wondered if he would move closer to me or live in another state, and it felt so good to know that he wanted to be closer to me. I got started looking for new places to tell him about right away.

I do all right when it comes to money, I have my own place, my own car, and I pay all my own bills. I try not to take money from my father, even though he’s offered me money on many occasions. I think that it’s important to learn how to rely on yourself. That is exactly what I have done. But I must admit I was a little bit envious while looking through all of the amazing-looking, luxury places around the city for my dad! I knew that I would be able to visit him whenever I want to, and I would be able to have some of that luxury around me at times when I visit, though.

I found three great places that I knew that my father would love. He thought that I did a really good job, and he picked out the best-looking one. He then surprised me and told me that he would like to get a 3 bedroom place. One room for him, one room for his office and then one room for me. Obviously, he said, if I didn’t want to live at home again, the 3rd bedroom would simply be a guest room that I could stay in, but that I was welcome to move in with him. I took him up on the offer.
